Course Modules

This course consists of four modules, each providing in-depth exploration and practical guidance on the key phases of the design journey, from Immersion to Learning in Action.

Week 1

The first module introduces the Innovator's Journey and explores personal transformation through design thinking. It delves into the core practices of design thinking and the impact of cognitive biases. Additionally, it includes an interview with industry experts, providing valuable insights into the immersion phase of design thinking.

Week 2

The second module focuses on Sensemaking, addressing the science behind it, the challenges it presents, and its significance in the design thinking process. It includes an insightful interview with an industry leader and practical assessments to reinforce learning.

Week 3

Module three delves into the Emergence and Imagining phases of the design journey. It explores the science behind these phases, the inherent challenges, and their critical importance. Furthermore, it features engaging interviews with industry experts, offering real-world perspectives on these phases.

Week 4

The final module, Learning in Action, provides a comprehensive understanding of this phase, including the associated challenges and its significance. It also includes interviews with industry leaders, reflections on the journey, and guidance on applying design thinking within organizational contexts. Participants will also develop a Personal Development Plan (PDP) to track their progress.
