This course series consists of three modules: Digitalisation in the Aerospace Industry, Digitalisation in Space Research, and Digitalisation in Aeronautics. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of digital applications, challenges, and the impact of digitalization in each domain.

Digitalisation in the Aerospace Industry

You will comprehend the ways in which industry and research interact in the aerospace industry and recognize the special requirements resulting from digitalization in production and industrial manufacturing. By the end of this module, you will be familiar with the most relevant digital applications in aerospace research and be able to discuss examples of their utilization.

Digitalisation in Space Research

In this module, participants will learn about a range of digital applications used in space research and understand the effects of digitalization on satellite navigation technology. They will also explore hazards created by digitalization, especially in space travel, and the challenges faced by the scientific community.

Digitalisation in Aeronautics

This module provides insights into a wide variety of digital applications utilized in aviation research. Participants will understand the nearly ubiquitous presence of digitalization in aviation research today and recognize the increasing complexity across all systems, resulting in part from digitalization.
