This module provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles and application of classification. Participants will explore the General Rules of Interpretation, Indian Customs Tariff, and WCO Explanatory Notes. Through practical exercises and assessments, learners will gain proficiency in determining the correct classification of various goods and products.

Valuation

Module 2 delves into the complexities of valuation, encompassing the Transaction Value concept, Customs Valuation Rules, and the Special Valuation Branch of Customs. Participants will gain insights into alternate valuation methods and the valuation of exports. Graded assessments will enable learners to apply their knowledge and understanding of the valuation process.
