Course

Networking in Google Cloud

Google Cloud

This specialization offers a comprehensive study of core infrastructure and networking options on Google Cloud Platform. Participants will explore and deploy GCP networking technologies, covering Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, subnets, firewalls, interconnection among networks, load balancing, Cloud DNS, and Cloud CDN. The course also delves into common network design patterns and automated deployment using Deployment Manager.

Intended for network engineers, admins, and individuals seeking exposure to software-defined networking solutions in the cloud, this course requires prior understanding of the OSI 7-layer model, IPv4 addressing, and managing IPv4 routes.

Participants will learn through recorded lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs, gaining practical experience in configuring networks, managing connectivity, and troubleshooting network problems. They will also develop skills in defining and implementing networks, hybrid connectivity, and network management on Google Cloud.
