Gordon Rausser is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to money matters. He was on the Council of Economic Advisers under President Reagan, and later served as chief economist for the Agency for International Development. For nearly 35 years, he's taught agriculture and resource economics at Berkeley and earned a large number of awards and honors; he also founded the Institute for Policy Reform in Washington D.C. Needless to say, if anyone is qualified to teach a lecture series titled, 'Environmental Economics and Policy,' it's Rausser.
